He is the president and CEO of Umpqua Holding Corporation and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Fast Company, BusinessWeek, Business 2.0, Newsweek, and CNBC. Umpqua was named to Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list in 2007. Ray lives with his wife, Bobbi, in Portland, Oregon.
